Pantech Breeze II Phone (AT&T) Review

Pantech Breeze II Phone (ATandT)

This phone is aimed at being an easy phone, and it can be that. It features some nice font sizes and fairly simple operation.
I am a teenager, and I went for this phone instead of a bar phone, a slider phone, smart phone, or any other type. Why? I like flip phones. There is peace of mind knowing that if I fall the inside screen and buttons wont break, and I dont need to worry about some huge display scratching against my keys while it is in my pocket or backpack.
For a flip phone, it does the job. Once you get use to the interface, it works quite well. There is also an advanced mode, which I keep the phone in. It has internet access, but it isnt blazingly fast--but then again, you shouldnt be buying a flip phone for internet usage or cool apps.
It also has a camera, which many people will point out isnt that good. I believe the culprit is the CMOS sensor and not a CCD sensor, so you keep some more "wobbly" effects. But then again, its a flip phone, so you probably dont need it for the camera. The grip of the phone is sub par, which is a shame. They built it so the back forms almost a straight line, so there is no angle in which to distinguish the bottom half and top of the phone when opened. Additionally, the back plastic part looks grippable, but its not. While the design seems like it would be easy to grip, it is not. This is a problem for removing the battery and getting to the sim and mini SD card. It is built quite poorly, and I can see it breaking in the future. Tape will be the only rememdy if that happens (very poor design). So, dont open the back :)
I just need a simple flip phone, and access to some simple internet things. This fits the bill.

Deluo Keychain GPS for Smartphone, Notebook Computers and BlackBerry Review

Deluo Keychain GPS for Smartphone, Notebook Computers and BlackBerry
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I connected this gps to a blackberry 8703e from verizonwireless. The gps on the phone is not really a gps/ 1700 meters off using google maps or live moble. So I got this keychain gps and downloaded live search on my blackberry. The other gps keychain with microsoft trips is only used for the laptop so i didn't get that one. The mobile phone or blackberry uses the live search, which is free.
All you have to do is download the app and connect the bluetooth. Another thing is that the manual said to use 0000 as the passcode but it didn't work. My passcode was 1234. I also found out that while using a laptop bluetooth it doesn't use a passcode. 0000 won't let you connect.
On the blackberry and once connected to the bluetooth. If you go to live search - options- configure and choose gps20c/ spp s.
Compared to the blackberry gps, it more accurate- on the dot- than the blackberry gps which is sometimes 4 blocks away.
The only bad part is that sometimes it takes awhile to connect to a satellite. Finding the satellite varries. Sometimes it could take 5 min ,or even 15 minutes or more. But once you get a signal you can drive down the street and watch the gps dot follow you.
I was so close to returning this at first because it didn't connect using the passcode and it seemed like it didn't want to find a satelite. But I'm glad I didn't.

HP Pavilion DV4-2140US 14.1-Inch Laptop (Black) Review

HP Pavilion DV4-2140US 14.1-Inch Laptop (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I wanted a laptop for cruising the internet and general purpose use. I don't do gaming. This laptop fit the bill in nearly ever respect, but I was quite disappointed by the short battery life. It seems to discharge at a rate of about 1% per minute, so that gives 1.5 hrs of on-battery use. Yeah, you could extend the uptime by dimming your display but that makes it quite difficult to read. I'd say, if you want this laptop, plan on spending from 75 to 150 more for a 12 cell battery - prices vary depending on if you get it from HP or aftermarket.
Lots of people have commented about the metallic touchpad but I don't find it an issue.
I love the touch sensitive volume control and mute button. Very handy, no fumbling around looking for the right key or key combo to adjust volume or mute.
Lightscribe works as advertised, kinda fun to make CD's and label them, but it does take a while (5-10 minutes).
I was tempted to give it just 3 stars (It's OK) vs 4 (I like it) and decided on 4 due to the value delivered.

Toshiba Satellite A505-S6999 Intel P7450 6GB RAM 64GB SSD 500GB HDD 16" Notebook Review

I bought this powerful machine about 6 weeks ago and it works absolutely flawless. I use it for work and it is running at least 16 hours per day. Battery life of the 12-cell battery is superb. Compatibility with peripherals is the best I have seen with any PC (thanks to Windows7 ??). I am running 2 additional screens with it without problems, using the Toshiba DynaDock docking station and the external VGA port on the laptop. I also use a 1TB WD USB HD with SmartWare for automatic back-ups. Also flawless. I will return to this review site, if I ever run into issues with this machine. So far, I'd say, you can buy it without hesitation.

Targus ACH105US 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub for Mac Review

Targus ACH105US 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub for Mac
Average Reviews:

PRO: compact, ports are well protected, looks good, feels even better
CON: no external light to indicate the connection is hot
Once this product gets into your hands, the first impression is WOW this product is sweet! From a tactile perspective, it feels really cool. From a visual perspective, it looks cool. And from a functionality perspective, it performs well. This is a one design that form has not overtaken but really worked to enhance the function of this product.
There are 2 big pluses for this hub. First, it is lightweight. Secondly, it is compact. The connector cable is designed into the hub so that it wraps around the body of the hub and serves as a protector to the ports, covering them when you travel or when the hub is not in use and properly stored. The connector cable is made of a rubberized plastic that is very flexible and just fun to touch, and yet rigid enough to be tucked out of the away into the hub body. This hub travels well, takes a beating, and stays wound up so that you will not find yourself either looking for the connection wires or being frustrated by their tangled mess.
The ports are evenly spaced and allow enough room for even the slightly wide jump stick. I liked the ports on the curve because these 2 spots allowed me to place irregular USB connectors in these slots and not loose another slot due to over lap.
The only con that I have run into is that there isn't an indicator light letting me know or rather, reassuring me that the hub has made a good, solid connection with the computer or equally, with any additional accessory to which it might be connected. This hasn't been a problem but there is a potential for it to be if we were stuck having to trouble shoot a faulty connection. Not having a connection indicator light eliminates the ability for the hub connections to be quickly checked off the list.
The color is a neutral gray so it can match or blend into most settings. It weighs in at less than 1.8 oz., which eliminates any question toting it in your briefcase or backpack.
It is a very clean, simple design for a very necessary piece for any road warrior.

Windows? 10.2" SLATE TABLET PC WIFI 320GB HP WINDOWS 7 1.7GHZ 2GB RAM 500 NEW IN BOX GTAB PC Review

Windows? 10.2 SLATE TABLET PC WIFI 320GB HP WINDOWS 7 1.7GHZ 2GB RAM 500 NEW IN BOX GTAB PC

This is one of the Windows 7 tablet computers available through Amazon and other retailers. The Tablet PC I purchased has a 320GB hard drive, 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP camera and a 1.6GHZ processor. I would definitely advise contacting the seller prior to purchasing any of the tablets like this one to verify the specs as I have found that many of the units being sold by other sellers do not match the listings on Amazon regarding hardware specs. These tablets are from an unknown manufacturer out of china. Basically this chinese company produces the Windows 7 tablet and then sells them in bulk to other smaller companies that will sell them online. Typically there is a warranty associated with the tablet, but it appears to be set by the company selling the unit and not by the original manufacturer. The Tablet came with a charging power adapter, a poorly translated instruction manual, and driver CD(you would need to purchase an external CD ROM drive to use the CD as the tablet does not have a CD ROM drive buiilt in to it). Overall this is a very solid Tablet PC. The video resolution can be set to 800x600 or 1024x600. Windows 7 rates itself at a 2.3 on the Windows Experience index on this PC. I will say that the touch screen is accurate and can be re-calibrated via the installed software if needed. I have found that you need to press a bit harder on the screen than you would have to on many of the other tablets on the market. The touch screen is a capacitive touch screen, which means that if you plan on purchasing a stylus for this unit, it will need to be a stylus designed for use with capacitive touch screens. If in doubt, that I-fruit company that makes phones, pads and pods also uses capacitive touch screens and if the stylus is designed to work on their devices, it should work on this Tablet PC also.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions as I have found information regarding this product is limited at best and most of the videos I have seen dont do the tablet justice.
Oh, and one more thing, unlike the devices sold by that I-fruit company, this tablet DOES support flash content.
