(More customer reviews)As I perfectionist, I tried MANY bluetooth sets before finding the Cardo Scala 600 about 3 years ago. It worked so well, sold a few of my friends on it and upgraded to the model 700 when it came out.
When I saw the 800, couldn't wait to try it.
HUGE disappointement:
1. Terrible "in ear" design. Falls out the minute you breathe or turn your head.
2. Over-the-ear loop looks like it was made from a leftover coat hanger and works about as well.
3. My Cardo Scala 700 works perfectly with my iPhone. Half the time I tried using the 800 with it, it would not "pair" meaning it refused to work with the iPhone.
4. Not really much smaller than prior models.
In fairness to Cardo, when it did work, the sound quality was comparable (no better or worse) than prior models.
Bottom Line: IMHO the Cardo Scala 700 is the BEST bluetooth I've ever tried and the model 800 is one of the worst.
